Figuring they're all expendable, a U.S. intelligence officer decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains for a top-secret mission. Now armed with government weapons, Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc and other despicable inmates must learn to work together. Dubbed Task Force X, the criminals unite to battle a mysterious and powerful entity, while the diabolical Joker (Jared Leto) launches an evil agenda of his own.

- Suicide Squad Review by Regina
It started out pretty fun -- the introduction of each member of the Suicide Squad was relatively exciting and I was full of anticipation for the great things these supposed super-villains were ostensibly going to do... but then the plot just stopped and suddenly everything became very dull. The characters became boring, the antagonist was laughable, and not even the action managed to salvage my attention.
I'm sure many have and will watch this because of the hype surrounding the title, but personally Suicide Squad adds nothing to the DC Universe. There's no engaging action, no emotional impact, no quirky characters that you end up rooting for.
3) "You would enjoy this movie if..."
You're really into DC and have very, very, very low expectations.
4) "This movie made me think about..."
How much better it could have been! So much promise only to fail in execution.
5) Overall rating?
2 stars. (Posted on 19/12/2016)
