In general, did people enjoy this film?

Most people weren't too keen on this film - They felt it fell kind of flat and didn't live up to it's potential. There was definitely something good about its foundations, but it lacked that extra something to push it over the edge and make it a better movie.

What did they like / not like about it?

I thought it was extremely simple, it never reached beyond the basic premise, and just followed through to the end playing the same one note throughout. - Liam

The plot was a bit weak - l could kind of see what was going on in Mr Lodge's mind - he really did not care about his son, just his sis in law. - Sarah

I felt like it was good enough. It certainly wasn't anything groundbreaking, but I enjoyed watching it and thought the ending was great. I also liked the aesthetics and the disconnect between the pleasant visuals and the more intense story line. - Mali

Life in a seemingly idyllic world (suburb) is flawed and not all is what it seems. Reminiscent of the 'stepford wives'. - Eddy

Keywords used to describe this movie:
