Passed away peacefully April 16,at the age of Survived by her husband of 62 years, Jim Seidel Grace life academy. Lucia was the most wonderful spouse, mother, grandmother, sibling, aunt, and friend. She was the loveliest of ladies with a kind heart,wonderful sense of humor, immense trust in God, and deep love for her family. She worked as a kindergarten teacher in the Saint Paul public school system and as a substitute teacher at Burroughs Elementary School in Minneapolis, prior to becoming a mother. Lucia had the special gift of hospitality and conversations with her made you feel appreciated, encouraged, and loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her as she is now welcomed to the greatest celebration of all by God's grace life academy. Due to the Covid pandemic, participation in the private Mass of Christian Burial will only be by online livestream, not by attending in person.
The livestream will occur on Thursday, April 22, at pm at olgparish. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Our Lady of Grace Fr. Robert T. Cassidy Endowment Fund.
