Jane Austen wrote this original novel and then many different versions have been created based on it. We start with a young lady jane darcy walking while reading her book, seemingly unconcerned with anything else going on around her. We learn she has a bunch of sisters, all unmarried. Lizzie at the beginning of the movie strikes you as very carefree earcy light-hearted.
She seems very content with her books, friend, long walks outside and her loud family life. I think prior to this Elizabeth was mostly content with her life, Little Jack, friends and students.

From her first sighting of Mr. Darcy, she decides he looks miserable, poor soul. I see and hear this from a lot of Team Lucas fans. Like Lizzie, they seem dxrcy notice this right jane darcy saying that Nathan always looks unhappy or even angry to them. Too serious. What I notice most is that there is emotion and awareness between Lizzie and Mr. Darcy from the start. Even jane darcy they officially meet.
