Photo taken in September, Wolfgang Koehler spoke English and after being captured by US forces note the US pin on his coat collarhe was used as an interpreter. He was at the very end of the war a member of the Hitlerjugend. Wolfgang later changed his name to Jack and emigrated to the States. He went on to become director of the AP and for a short time became the hifler secretary for his friend Ronald Reagan.
