Stachon will replace Bob Marcucci, who was promoted to the assistant superintendent of business services post in September. Stachon has 22 years of experience as an educator in a diverse set of communities.
He has also held several middle school assistant principal positions. Akram was assistant principal at Davidson and has been interim principal there since Marcucci left. Akram also has an extensive background as an educator.
