Is gift for my 13 yr old Goddaughter Lovely stories. Worth every penny and beautifully put together I wanted great illustration for my 3. Turned out, he still loves it. It is not censored so it's a little scary for him.
But my favorite part is that I can explain stranger danger with lost of the stories and he's paying attention and understanding better than ever because of the context Wonderfully written book and stunning illustrations. However, there is only go here illustration per fairy tale, and some of them are quite a few pages long. Such a shame! I hoped that this book would be worth adding to our collection, despite us knowing most of the stories, and we were not disappointed.
Overall, the fairy tales are well-written, and fun to read, even if you are already familiar with the stories. They keep the attention of both brothers grim sleeping beauty my children currently nine and five years old. I would recommend this to someone looking for a beautifully illustrated collection of fairy tales Like Cinderella's carriage doesn't turn into a pumpkin for example, but everything is as described and we're keeping it for when my 6 year old gets brotyers I am returning it. I'm sorry that I could not give a better review.

I ordered another Fairy Tale book instead This is why given only 2 stars! I doubt it will last long unfortunately I agree with the other posters that there certainly should be more drawings.
My only real complaint though is that when I opened it up, some of the pages fell out.]
