We also acknowledge the Five Solas of the Reformation as helpful for maintaining a Biblically defined faith in Christ. We affirm both the Philadelphia Confession of Faith and the Baptist Faith and Message as historical and modern Baptist confessions of faith. These serve as doctrinal guides for our church. Finally, we affirm the theological commitments of KMUSA, a family of churches from many denominational backgrounds which we are blessed to belong to.
While creeds and confessions are helpful in our journey towards maturity in Christ, the final authority is always the Bible. Creeds and confessions are beneficial protestqnt the degree that they hold us fast to a Biblical faith in Christ.
