For some reason my post was automatically removed, so I'm reposting this with a different title, as the title may have been the issue relating to its removal I don't believe there is anything wrong with the title, though. We have the term 'ageism', which is most typically applied to older adult people, particularly those who are considered 'senile', 'past it', etc.
The only uses of the term 'youngism' that I could basically find are in this BBC articlein this Reddit post, in how is prejudice different from discrimination? a user asks whether the OP whether or not "you mean ageism In my opinion these terms - 'youngism' and 'youngist' - are commonsensical, as while 'childism' applies to children, 'youngism' necessarily applies to only youth, who are people who may be considered children or minors under the law, but I think that they are different to children in other ways because many of them are sexually maturing, many have romantic relationships, and many of them do things which are considered very adult-typical.

I am hereby proposing that the term 'youngism' and its adjectival derivation 'youngist' to denote a separate form of prejudice, discrimination, or oppression against a different class of people - youth, whom I define as people who are not children although they be considered such legallybut discriminatino? not yet adults in a legal sense, or otherwise, reallyor they are young adults - be hopefully disseminated to a greater degree for the sake and necessity of youth liberation and the thwarting of anti-youth discrimination, prejudice, and oppression wherever it exists. Though not the coiner of the phrase 'youngism', I hope to encourage others to use this term more so that we can get it in use a lot more and perhaps even become just as recognised as 'ageism'.
I think Ie having a hard time parsing what this covers that childism and adultism don't already cover between them. Also it sounds silly. I'm not sure why. I don't mean the concept is silly, obviously, I just mean that the word itself doesn't ring right, at least for me.
