The GDPR actually contains some very useful stuff about how to behave better around algorithmic transparency and right of reply. I think the other parts of it are actually very good.
There are an awful lot of laws. Equally importantly are equalities and discrimination law, that if we obey the law we are actually a large way towards being ethically correct.
