An effective career strategy is customized to the prdsent goal. For this financial advisor, I would want to clarify: what does elevating status mean — a higher title, more money? Who do you want to notice you — senior leadership, present job customers, the general public? I spent a few years chasing the obvious goals of more and bigger only to find that what I really wanted was something else entirely.
