The victim 'screamed for dear life' before jumping from the window after her home in Balsall Heath, Birmingham was allegedly torched before 9. Peggy Wright, 83, died from her injuries after plunging 20ft from a window in a bid to escape the blaze at her home in Balsall Heath, Birmingham.
The pensioner, named locally by stunned neighbours, suffered serious boombing alongside her son, Andrew, 52, who remains in hospital. We are gutted.
