The Friends of the Sewickley Library will be happy to accept your book donations on Monday, April 26, from to PM, in the parking lot. Donations should not be brought into the library or left outside the library on any other date or time. Volunteers will be on hand to accept the donations in the parking lot. The Friends will accept up to two boxes or two bagfuls per car of gently used or new books, DVDs, CDs and books on CDs — with the total number of items not to exceed Please look for future donation dates to be announced in the newsletter, on the website, or on the doors of the library. The group of volunteers is unable to process and store books as spaces used for storage and offices undergo mitigation. The public spaces in the library are open and well ventilated and all services are available, but please do not bring in book donations as staff cannot accept them. Enjoy browsing their excellent collection and be especially kind go here their talented and donate book to library staff whose work space has been relocated. The Friends of the Library will continue to stock the front lobby with books that have been removed from their storage space and cared for in member's homes. They stock that lobby honor book cases with their Media Spotlight Specials at bargain prices.
