Today, we discuss James Madison, the fourth president and more importantly the primary author of the Constitution. Madison was the first wartime president and was another president of the early period of the United States that could never, ever, ever be elected president in the 21 st Century. I think of the first four presidents, only Jefferson would likely be able to obtain the White House today.
