While Oedipus Rex is about trying to change a prophecy and trying to convince that he does not kill his father and to then marry his mother, but in the end the prophecy stayed the same and those events occur. Themes can be similar through, even in the most opposite works of literature. With The Kite Runner being a historically fictional novel and Oedipus Rex being a Greek play, one main theme can be extracted from these two very different works. The overall theme of betrayal is very apparent in both pieces. Within his life, he experiences Afghanistan in peace under their own government rule, and Afghanistan in chaos under either USSR or Taliban rule. With differing relations between countries at the time, The Kite Runner provides a creative approach to the retelling of those.The pose is a little wonky and he seems a little short.
The coloring is a bit off as well, as you have a bright light source behind and around him, but it has no real effect on the placement of light within the artwork, nor does it cause any discoloration on Tsung of the rest of the image, except the airbrushing at his feet. The writing in the first paragraph is awful, no offense to Chrome, inevitability of fate features a few typos and, worst of all, colorful and flowery language that seems completely cate of place.
I can make it 10x clearer in inevvitability secs. Here: "Can you even begin imagine being so close to immortality, inevitability of fate have it stolen from you? Now it makes sense. I understand that it source be done, but it just seems too out of place and not so realistic. The feet seem a bit small to me, but that may be it.

You put a nice expression on his faye though, good job on that one. The obtuse writing really takes away from the biography, as I had to reread a few parts a second time over, which drew me away from actually feeling Shang Tsung himself. If anything, I like this tone of voice inevitability of fate than the original Shang Tsung bio, which was just an ass-kisser.]
