Work Text: Candy looked at herself in her dressing room mirror, she had applied make-up with a touch of glitter that would shine nicely under the stage lighting for her performance that night. Her hair was dyed a balayage of pink and orange and with careful precision she had put in grapefruit pink contacts to match the intensity of her hair. She heard the dressing room door slam open and shut, her shift mate and fellow dancer, Carmine shuffled in. Compared to the dramatic rabble of the other girls Carmine had been in the business probably as long as Candy. Candy was adjusting the straps of her outfit when she heard Carmine settle into her vanity, taking off what looked to be her eyelashes. poppy bruise.
