King of Seas is a procedurally generated RPG from Italian developer 3DClouds, which has stated that this is its most ambitious project yet.

Not to be confused with Sea of Thievesa pirate multiplayer that rose to popularity last year, and Skull and Bones, which has been seemingly lost in limbo. King of Seas is a single-player experience set in a deadly, learning world. The atmosphere can affect gameplay such as sailing through storms, and missions include conquering settlements and classic treasure hunts.

Though it hasn't made much of an appearance in trailers, 3DClouds outlines that the story is an epic adventure with enticing characters, but seaz, it's unclear what players can expect in terms of narrative.

Alongside the single-player experience, it looks like King of Seas has potential for multiplayer in the future. But again, this game is shrouded in mystery as the trailers don't reveal much aside from the nautilus battles between ships. While pirate games don't have a great track record, other than Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, perhaps King of Seas will be another title to have broken the pirate curse alongside Sea of Thieves and will similarly end up being a big success.]
