Thankfully after 24 hours he improved and he's no longer taking that. The lack of sleep due to sinus drainage is driving me crazy. With the swelling of the mouth it would swell then go down then out of the blue my teeth stated decaying now my poor teeth are horrible and lisinolril decaying more and more every day it's very hurtful. In this last week I have woken up even day with grotesquely swollen eyes and my ankles by evening were so swollen I couldn't walk.Pcbob - I was also told about the 'dry' hacking cough, as a possible side effect.
Posted by Stephanie Article source on February 12, After 5 days of terrible withdrawl, my body was released from this chemical hell. I have no proof this is lisinopril, but after what I've been reading I suspect it may have been behind all of this. My mom was on Lisinopril for three years.

I understand this cough could take anywhere from 10 days to over a month to subside I was taking lisinoril and within a few months I felt like both my hips were broken. A couple of weeks later she increased the dosage to 20mg. I will not be taking this and calling my Dr. I started source take Lisinopri in July and have been coughing since. 
The doctors there figured out this hacking cough was due to Lisinopril.
I have been on all the antibiotics, steroids, allergy meds, Sinulair, Musinx, Robutussin This web page, prescription acid reflex meds.
Two days ago I woke up having trouble breathing.
