I've also used frozen spinach and it works well. Top layer only has meat sauce and cheeses. All Reviews. Witth bechamel sounds wonderful! To me, you cannot call this recipe Spinach Lasagna if you use only 2 cups of fresh spinach. But, one bite and I was hooked. I just made it and had my first bite.
