The Penn State College of Nursing is one of the most comprehensive colleges of nursing in any public university in the country. With over 2, undergraduate students and approximately graduate students, our footprint is world-wide with our faculty creating immeasurable experiences for our students around the globe. This will be a full-time, fixed-term, forty-eight-week appointment with full benefits for one year from date of hire. The successful candidate will be expected to teach fall, spring, and summer semesters with an anticipated start date as early as July 1, , although the position will remain open until it is filled. Direct reports include all faculty and administrative staff at the campus. The Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and day-to-day operations of the CON nursing programs extended to the campus. Key duties include recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervising our dedicated faculty and staff, implementing the nursing curriculum, maintaining accreditation standards, managing the nursing course schedule, teaching classroom, simulation, and clinical courses, advising students, participating on committees and other service and scholarly activities, and serving as the Nursing Program Liaison between Penn State Harrisburg and the College of Nursing at University Park. The position will be filled at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor or Associate Teaching Professor based upon the credentials of the successful candidate.
