Career and resume help is one of the most frequently asked questions of librarians and MyCareerMatch is an Australian custom built online career and resume resource for the general public to access via their library.

This resource provides personalised information to help members find careers that best match and customises the report for each patron ncluding the words and phrases to add to their resume. Patrons login using the barcode / membership number to authenticate and complete a 15 minute survey. The survey discovers their personal strengths and employability skills and these are matched to careers that require these qualities. Careers are linked to an Australian Government website providing up to date information on education requirements, employment opportunities, salaries and more. The report is emailed immediately on completion to the library member as a PDF document and included is a link to download a Resume Guide and access to an Online Resume Builder with hundreds of templates, suggestions and tips on how to write a great resume.
